How Wings Over
Came to Life

Wings over started with a simple obsession: the perfect wing. Founded in Pittsburgh, PA in 2014, our founders Marcus and Elena Webb set out to create a wings over experience unlike anything the city had tasted — hand-tossed, never frozen, finished in our signature rotating drum ovens.

What began as a tiny takeout spot on Penn Ave quickly grew into a community landmark. Locals lined up around the block for our 30+ proprietary sauces — from honey garlic to ghost pepper inferno. The wingsover philosophy was always the same: quality ingredients, bold flavors, and a genuine love for what we do.

Today, Wings over serves thousands of happy customers every month, catering events across Pittsburgh and delivering the wings over experience straight to your door. Every order is made fresh to order — because that's the only way we know.

2014

The First Wing

Marcus and Elena Webb open a small takeout counter at 4905 Penn Ave. With just six sauce flavors and a dream, Wings over serves its very first order.

Sauce Lab Launched

We expand our kitchen and launch the Wings over Sauce Lab — a dedicated space for developing new flavors. Our signature Honey Sriracha and Buffalo Bleu are born here.

Pittsburgh's Best Wings

Wings over is voted "Best Wings in Pittsburgh" by Pittsburgh Magazine readers for the first time. The line for pickup stretches around the block every Friday night.

Online Ordering Launch

We launch online ordering and curbside pickup. Despite the challenges of the year, Wings over records its highest-ever monthly orders and deepens ties with the Pittsburgh community.

Catering Goes City-Wide

The Wings over catering division launches, serving corporate events, sports parties, and weddings across the greater Pittsburgh area. 200+ events in the first year alone.
